The neighborhood has few residents and in order to buy everything you need for your daily living you have to go either to the small town of Voukolies or to the small town of Kandanos, which are about 15 and 20 minutes' drive, respectively. There you will find restaurants, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies and some shops. The location is ideal if you are interested in the area of Paleochora but you don`t want to be away from the northern part of the island. Paleochora, on the south side of the prefecture is about 40 minutes' drive and the beach of Tavronitis, on the north side about 20 minutes away. The city and airport of Chania are 45 and 55 minutes' drive, respectively.
